Global Coach Group: is the credential path worth the price?

Current programs and real payment totals

The provider lists three principal paths. GLC focuses on the Global Leadership Coach method and 70 education hours. The ACC option adds mentor coaching and an ICF Level 1 path. The PCC option adds broader leadership, assessment, and team-coaching components with an ICF Level 2 path.

Installments are not the same price as paying upfront. Based on the figures displayed on September 8, 2026, 12 GLC payments total $3,588 and 12 ACC payments total $5,988. The PCC page contains two different monthly figures, $999 near the comparison table and $990 in the detailed section, producing totals of $11,988 or $11,880. Obtain a written total before enrolling.

What the ICF connection actually means

The official International Coaching Federation education directory listed Global Coach Group with an approval start date of January 3, 2024 and an accreditation renewal date of January 31, 2027 when checked. Buyers whose studies extend into 2027 should confirm the provider's current directory status before paying and again before relying on a completion certificate.

An accredited education path can satisfy education, mentor-coaching, and performance-evaluation components for the relevant application route. It does not by itself award an ACC or PCC credential. As of this review, ICF's ACC requirements also include at least 100 coaching-experience hours, including 75 paid hours, and passing the ACC exam. Standards are scheduled to change in 2027, so the official ICF candidate guidance should control.

What looks genuinely useful

The leadership specialization is more focused than a generic life-coach certificate. The published structure combines self-paced modules with live workshops and practice labs, and the provider says sessions are recorded. The ACC and PCC descriptions include group and individual mentor coaching, with additional support promised if a recording is not ready.

GCG also says it supplies practice clients, coaching guides, business-development resources, and tools for leadership assessments and engagements. Those features can reduce setup friction, but a prospective student should ask which resources remain available for life and which require future platform or assessment payments.

Claims Worthwise did not independently verify

GCG advertises a 100 percent first-pass rate for ICF accreditation and a 95 percent coworker-satisfaction result based on more than 100,000 leaders coached. The public pages describe the claims but do not provide enough underlying data for Worthwise to independently test the denominator, time period, exclusions, or study method.

Treat those figures as provider claims, not guaranteed personal outcomes. Certification does not guarantee clients, paid coaching hours, employment, revenue, or acceptance into GCG corporate engagements.

Refund promise and cost gaps

The certification page advertises a 90-day full-refund promise with no questions asked and says there are no hidden program fees. That is favorable on its face. Before paying, save the version of the policy that governs your purchase and ask whether using materials, attending live sessions, receiving shipped items, or choosing installments changes the refund or remaining-payment obligation.

Budget separately for the ICF application, exam or membership costs that apply to your route, the time needed to obtain qualifying coaching experience, business setup, insurance, marketing, assessment usage, and any platform costs after included access ends.

Questions to resolve before enrollment

1. Which certificate will I receive?

   Ask whether your chosen purchase produces a GLC certificate, an ICF Level 1 certificate, an ICF Level 2 certificate, CCE units, or a combination, and which application path it supports.

2. What remains outside the program?

   Ask for the current ICF experience, exam, application, membership, and payment requirements that GCG does not satisfy or pay.

3. Do supplied clients count toward paid experience?

   ICF requires paid coaching hours for ACC. Ask how GCG-arranged practice clients are classified and what documentation the student receives.

4. What is the binding payment total?

   Resolve the conflicting PCC installment figures and ask whether a refund cancels all remaining installments or only returns amounts already paid.

5. What access continues after graduation?

   Separate lifetime course materials from community, software, GLA360 assessments, client tools, recordings, mentor support, and services that may later require payment.
